Mobile Boat & Watercraft Detailing, Lake Marion & Sumter County SC
Evans Elite Detailing provides mobile boat and watercraft detailing throughout Sumter and Clarendon Counties, SC, including the Lake Marion and Santee Cooper area. We come to your dock, driveway, or storage lot, wash and decon the hull, cut out the oxidation, and can finish it in a marine ceramic that actually holds up to the water.
What a boat detail includes
- Full exterior wash and decontamination, waterline to rail
- Oxidation and chalk removal from faded gelcoat
- Hull and gelcoat compound and polish
- Vinyl seating and upholstery cleaned and conditioned
- Metal rails, cleats, and hardware polished
- Optional marine-grade wax or ceramic sealant
Built for the water around here
South Carolina sun and Lake Marion waterline staining are hard on a finish. Gelcoat chalks, vinyl dries out, and the metal dulls faster than people expect. A real marine detail is not just a wash. It is pulling the oxidation back out, sealing the surface so the water beads instead of staining, and conditioning the vinyl so the seats do not crack in the heat.
Because we are mobile, you do not have to haul the boat to a shop. We detail it where it lives. Pontoon on the lift at Wyboo, bass boat in the driveway in Summerton, ski boat at the Santee ramp, same standard either way.
Vessels we detail
Pontoons, bass boats, ski and wakeboard boats, jon boats, and small cabin cruisers. If it floats and it has a finish worth protecting, we can take care of it. Larger or specialty vessels are welcome too, we will just confirm scope and access in the quote first.
Honest, by-the-vessel pricing
Boat detailing is quoted per vessel rather than from a fixed menu, because length and condition drive the work. Send the length and a few photos through the quote form and you get a real number back, usually the same day. No upsells at the dock, the number we quote is the number you pay.
Frequently asked
- How much does boat detailing cost near Lake Marion?
- Boat work is quoted per vessel, because a 16-foot jon boat and a 24-foot pontoon are very different jobs. Price depends on length, condition, and whether you want oxidation removal or a ceramic finish on top of the wash. Send a few photos and the length through the quote form and you get a real number back, usually the same day, with no surprises at the dock.
- Do you come to the dock or the marina?
- Yes. We are fully mobile, so we detail your boat where it sits: your dock on Lake Marion, your driveway, the storage lot, or the ramp. You do not have to trailer it anywhere. We just need water and power access nearby, or we bring our own.
- Can you remove oxidation from a gelcoat hull?
- Yes. Chalky, faded gelcoat is one of the most common things we fix on the water. We compound and polish the oxidation out to bring the shine back, then can seal it with a marine-grade wax or ceramic so it holds up against sun and waterline staining a lot longer.
- What kinds of boats do you detail?
- Pontoons, bass boats, ski and wakeboard boats, jon boats, and small cabin cruisers are all in our wheelhouse. If you are not sure whether yours fits, just ask in the quote form and we will tell you straight.
